I didn’t do a gratitude journal post last week, not because
I wasn’t grateful for anything but what I would have written would have been
pretty much the same as the weeks before. It’s nice that I have things in my
life that I’m continually grateful for. So of course I won’t stop being
grateful for the things I’ve already talked about, but here are some more
things I have to be grateful about this week:
- I’m grateful for pay day because I needed razors and ingredients for (what I hope to be) a yummy crock pot dinner tonight.
- I’m grateful for Planet Fitness, because I feel amazing today after a great workout last night!
- I’m grateful for my sister who knows exactly what exercises I need in order to work my “problem” areas, and helps me do them the right way and motivates me to hold my planks for a minute instead of 30 seconds.
- I’m grateful for Disney Junior on Demand because there are a lot of demands for Mickey Mouse Clubhouse lately.
- Lastly, I’m just grateful for my life. Sometimes I feel like I got the worst luck and the worst set of circumstances, and like everything goes wrong for me. But I’m trying to change that mentality because things usually work out in the end, and the struggles always feel so small once I have those moments of relief. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to say “I made it through that and now I have something positive to look forward to”.
